The New/Old House:Turning a Closet into a Bathroom

So here's the plan: Convert an unused coat closet into a half bathroom. The first floor of this 130 year-old Victorian has NO bathroom. That means the many college students (Chabad Nation) that pass through for Shabbat and holidays have to use the bathroom on the second floor. This is the family's domaine with the master bedroom and children's rooms. Not a good situation. Oh, and it's also not great for toilet training young children!

There's a large coat closet that would make a small but functional powder room so we're trying to get it done before Rosh Hashanah. Here's the plan...
 1. There is so much fun bathroom art on Etsy like this one.
2. This sink is only 16 x 12 inches so it will be perfect is a tight space.
3. The walls are in bad shape after removing the countless hooks that have been there since the house was built. Fun art will draw the eye away from the walls.
4. An inexpensive but chic towel ring from Urban Outfitters.
5. Exposed copper pipes will save money (no breaking into the walls) and give the bath an industrial chic vibe.

Here's what is done so far...
I found lots of great frames at Goodwill for under $6.00 each!
And a mirror like this one from Home Goods...

Now it needs to be sanded and painted before the plumber arrives and then the fun part begins!
