The New/Old House:A Foyer Light

When I tell you my daughter, Ariel, made a show stopping light fixture for her front hall with nothing more than paper and a glue gun you'd probably be a bit baffled. But look what she did with white printer paper and a paper lantern!

This must be the year for cootie catchers...I designed a Passover cootie catcher that I sell in my Etsy shop...

and she cut and folded almost 100 of them to created this fixture.

It was a few days of intense cutting folding and gluing, but so worth it.

It looked even better with the light shining through...

The fixture that came with the house was old and tired...it didn't reflect the vibrant young family that now lives here. Next up—the walls...stay tuned!
