Cookie Trays

Here's a quick and easy way to create elevated trays that are perfect for cookies, cakes or appetizers when you're entertaining a crowd. After all, everything looks more impressive when it's elevated.
I created these trays for a local Friendship Circle gala. If you're not familiar with the Friendship Circle, it's an incredible organization for children with special needs.  It brings together teenage volunteers and children for hours of fun and friendship. These shared experiences empower the children, while enriching the lives of everyone involved.

The theme for the event was "Raising the Bar" and the refreshments consisted of an ice cream bar, a waffle bar and a juice bar. So cute!
Each one cost less than $12 and they added much needed height to the tables. Here's how:
The large 16-inch platter is from The Christmas Tree Shop, the white coffee mug is from the dollar store and the square plate is from Target.

A dab of Goop glue holds everything together...
I was happy to donate my time and efforts to such a great cause!
