Personalized Ribbon

I had an "ah-ha" moment a few years ago at Talbots.

I was buying a gift and asked for the free gift wrapping. Their signature gift wrap was a beautiful, red glossy box tied with a simple white satin ribbon with the word "Talbots" printed in gold ink, repeating every few inches*.

Hmmm...ribbon, printed words.....why couldn't I use it this idea for my Shalach Manot baskets for Purim?
There are many online sources available to order personalized ribbon from. It's not expensive and one roll is probably enough to use for several years. Here are two sources: Amazon and eFavorMart, and you'll find many more if you google "personalized ribbon".

I've used the ribbon in the photo above, to tie the cellophane wrap on my Shalach Manot food baskets for many years.  This year, as those of you who saw my post last week, I used solid orange colored ribbon to go with the bright vibe of my baskets. If you haven't seen that post you can see it here.

*Talbots current signature wrapping uses white boxes with plain black ribbon.
