After her brother turned two early in February, I asked Moussia what theme she would like for her upcoming birthday. Without missing a beat she answered "Hearts!" (Little did she know Valentine's Day was in a week and I could find heart-shaped items on clearance!)
The first things I found were heart-shaped boxes. I dumped out the candy (not kosher and made with high fructose corn syrup) and covered the tops with pretty patterned papers from the craft store.
I filled them with cute heart shaped bubbles, stickers, toys and kosher candy.
Cupcakes are SO yesterday! Instead we went with push-up cake pops. The empty push-up containers were ordered from Shop Sweet Lulu.
The push-up cake pops were a big hit at the party!
Paper hearts were strung with thread and hung from the ceiling...
Moussia is already planning her five-year-old birthday party!
